Soap Making Workshop

Presented by the Toronto Beekeepers Collective with Karen McKenna

Learn how to make your own natural soap!

At this hands on work shop, local beekeeper Karen McKenna (“Hi Honey” on Facebook) will instruct participants on how to make soap using the heated process. You will also get a recipe for making soap using a cold process but when you use this process, your soap will take a couple of months to cure. Each participant will leave with 2 bars of soap (lavender, orange or plain), a list of suppliers for the raw materials and instructions on how to make fresh batches at home.

The workshop will be taking place from 7:00 to 8:30 on Wednesday October 26 at The Cannonball, 641 Queen St East, near Queen and Broadview.  TTC access is directly in front of and across the street via the 501 streetcar. Street parking is also available. Food and drinks are available before and after the workshop at this indie coffee shop, also the historical site of Toronto’s first Spiritualist church. Please register early as space is limited. To register, please send your name and contact information to Nancy Bardecki at nbardecki@hotmail.com

AND send $20 to intro@torontobees.ca via Paypal. Your registration is not complete until we have received payment.
